Itinerary
Day 1
ARRIVE IN PHNOM PENH
When you land in Phnom Penh after your flight we’ll be at the airport to meet you and take you to the hotel. You’ll have plenty of time to recover from your flight, chill out and meet your group. That night we’ll head out for dinner and drinks.
Day 2
TUK TUK TOUR & CAMBODIAN HISTORY
After a tuk tuk tour through the crazy streets of Phnom Penh, we’ll make two important stops at the S21 Prison and the original Killing Fields to learn about the dark history of this fascinating country. A difficult day, but a must to properly understand the journey of the Cambodian people in recent decades. That evening we’ll head for dinner and drinks, followed by some of Phnom Penh’s best nightlife.
Small Change: Explore Cambodia’s history on a profound level with a visit to S21 Prison and the Killing Fields.
Day 3
KAMPOT & KAYAKING
Today we get off the beaten path and head to the peaceful countryside province of Kampot. The next two nights are spent by the beautiful riverside with plenty of time for swimming and relaxing. That afternoon we’ll kayak down the river and soak up the laid back daily life of the locals.
Small Change: As we kayak, each group collects waste to keep rivers and mangroves clean
Day 4
PEPPER PLANTATION & COOKING CLASS
Kampot is known to have some of the best pepper in the world! We’ll learn first hand how to make some of Cambodia’s most authentic and delicious meals and then get to explore the pepper plantation before heading out on a stunning river cruise.
Day 5
HELLO PARADISE
It’s now time to experience the most beautiful beaches in Cambodia! We’ll take a train and a fast ferry to the stunning tropical island of Koh Rong Sanloem and check into our traditional Khmer style beach bungalows. The afternoon can be spent lazing on the beach or exploring the island before we head out for dinner and drinks!
Small Change: During our stay in Koh Rong, our groups will help protect the environment with regular beach clean ups.
Day 6
SNORKELLING ADVENTURE
All aboard our private long tail boat to some of the best snorkel spots around the islands, including some beautiful secluded beaches. This evening’s sunset will be the perfect time to reflect on another ridiculously awesome day together.
Day 7
CHILL OUT & OVERNIGHT BUS
This morning we'll enjoy our final day on the island relaxing on the beach. We’ll then catch the ferry back to the mainland for dinner before boarding a comfortable overnight bus bound for Siem Reap. With fully reclining beds and air con, this is bus travelling in style.
Day 8
SIEM REAP & FLOATING VILLAGES
Arrive in Siem Reap early in the morning. From there we’ll venture out to the rural areas and discover some traditional floating villages surrounded by lush rice fields, lotus flowers and flooded forests.
Small Change: During our floating village tour, we'll visit homes, schools, and meet community members, gaining a deeper understanding of their resilience and daily challenges.
Day 9
ANGKOR WAT
We’ll wake for sunrise and travel by tuk tuk to the absolutely mind-blowing and world famous Angkor Wat; the largest temple in the world! A local guide will join us to explain the fascinating history and surrounding temples, including Ta Prohm where Tomb Raider was filmed. This afternoon we'll meet the APOPO hero rats, who have been sniffing out landmines and saving lives since 1997. Tonight we’ll head out for our final dinner and final night out!
Small Change: By sponsoring APOPO Hero Rats, we are helping make Cambodian communities safer. These trained rats detect landmines, allowing teams to clear dangerous areas and protect lives.

Customer reviews & ratings
I’ve been home maybe 2 weeks from my Cambodia Intro Tour and what an incredible experience it was! I arrived a day before tour started and Logan our tour leader still came and met me at our first hotel and gave me the warmest welcome which was greatly unexpected with it being the day before tour started but immensely appreciated! Made me feel so at ease with being solo but also so excited for what was to come on tour! A few other people that were due to start on tour also arrived a day early so Logan suggested going out for food so the few of us could get to know each other before tour which was also a great idea and a great start to my trip! Then tour started and what an experience it was! S21 prison and the killing fields which is a massive part of Cambodia’s history so needs to be apart of the tour! Logan had forewarned us that it can be quite heavy before we set off, (I hadn’t done any research before going on the trip) and I wasn’t expecting it to hit me as hard as it did, however Logan was so caring for the whole group but even more so for the few of us that properly cried! Then came the first proper ‘night out’ and Logan ensured everyone was enjoying themselves and getting involved to the level they were comfortable with! My favourite part of this tour was the island - Koh Rong Sanloem! Cliff top sunset bar, beach clean (#SmallChange), snorkelling during the boat trip and special mention to my favourite bar on the whole trip Big Easy! I wish the stay in the island was a bit longer and that we also got to go over to the other island (just means I need to go back to Cambodia!) whilst on the island one of the other girls had some issues with her room and Logan went above and beyond to ensure things were sorted (even at 11pm)! Other highlights from tour: winning the quiz (Logan put great effort into this), sunrise at Angkor Watttttttt, pub street and Karaoke! To say this was my first group tour, it surpassed expectations and I may have booked 2 more tours with Intro because of it 👀 Thank you Logan for leading the tour so well! Thank you intro for putting on this tour! Thank you Cambodia for the memories!
